Use the unusual word first
A distinctive noun from the title is more useful than a full sentence about watching online. Search that word, then compare posters and premises. If you remember only the plot, browse the closest genre and avoid a guessed year at first.
Check movie versus television
A film and a series can share a title. The format selector narrows the result, but choosing the wrong format can also hide the title you want. Reset it to All when the search looks unexpectedly empty.
Treat a remembered year as a clue
You may remember the year you watched it rather than the original release. Search without the year, read the matching record and then use the year filters for similar titles.
Keep a short shortlist
Save the strongest matches rather than opening dozens of tabs. Read their premises side by side from My List. Once you identify the production, its details page is the easiest bookmark to keep.
